Nashville, TN did shine a little bit brighter last week with the presence of the USS LITTLE shipmats and their families and friends in attendance. Y'all who were unable to attend missed a really fun time - also a lot of exercise.

We're still basking in memories of the great reunion in Tennessee as we proceed with plans for next year here in Portland, OR. Yes, things are happening, however incomplete they may be. We have heard from our Navy man in Seattle (hereafter known as Mark) who coordinates the arrival of ships during Rose Festival week. He says he is looking forward to working with us. However (there's always one of those in the Navy) he won't be able to give us the type of ship nor a date until after the first of the year. Deja vu of 1998 all over again, huh?
