Site Update
December 28, 2011
Over the past fourteen years I have striven to develop and maintain a quality and informative web presence for the U.S.S. Little DD 803 which was sunk by Japanese Kamikaze Aircraft on May 3, 1945 at Okinawa Gunto at a depth of 850 fathoms (Latitude 26-24° N., Longitude 126-15° E) with a loss of 31 crew.
During this time I have met many of the original crew, their families, friends as well as numerous other individuals who have expressed an interest in learning more about the DD 803. I personally would like to thank each and every one of you who have made this journey so enjoyable!
You are now visiting the latest website redesign which will provide access to more information, pictures, articles, etc., so that we may keep the memories of these sailors living well into the future.
Stop by and visit often as I will update the site frequently in anticipation of debuting it at the 2012 USS Little DD 803 Reunion which will be held in Hutchinson, KS from May 3 – May 6, 2012.
